What does hypnosis feel like? Hypnosis often feels like a guided, peaceful daydream where your body can fully rest and feel safe, while your mind remains aware and comfortable. It takes place in a therapeutic setting, and the suggestions used are always designed to support positive change. We cannot make your brain do anything it does not want to do, and you are always an active participant in the process. Change happens because you want it and are motivated to move forward. The goals we work towards are always yours. Everyone’s experience is slightly different, and there is no “right” way to feel.
Will I be asleep or lose control? No. Hypnotherapy is not sleep and has nothing to do with the hypnosis that you see on stage. It is a collaborative and respectful process. You cannot be made to do or say anything you don’t want to. You can hear and respond throughout, remain fully in control, and come out of hypnosis at any time if you choose.

What happens in the Initial Consultation? During your initial consultation, we will gather relevant information by asking a few gentle medical and lifestyle questions. This helps us understand your sleep patterns, current challenges, and, most importantly, what you would like to achieve. We will also explain how your brain works in clear, simple terms and show how this relates specifically to you and your situation.
What happens in a hypnotherapy session? Sessions are calm, supportive, gentle and unhurried, creating a space where you can feel at ease. We begin with a brief conversation about how you’ve been feeling and what you’d like support with. You are always free to share only what feels comfortable. The second part of the session is the hypnosis. You will sit or lie comfortably while being guided into a deeply relaxed state. Many people find this part of the session especially soothing and restorative.
What happens between sessions? After your initial consultation, you will be sent a link to a carefully chosen relaxation audio track, designed to support you between sessions. Listening to this at bedtime each night supports the therapy process and helps you get the best possible results.
How many sessions will I need? This varies from person to person. Many people notice positive changes within three to four sessions, while some situations benefit from a little longer support. We will discuss this together at the start and review progress regularly.
